Most clients book their maternity session during their second trimester, typically around 12 to 20 weeks into pregnancy. Securing your spot early guarantees availability for your ideal window—usually between 28 and 34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully defined and you are still comfortable moving around. If you are further along or planning on a shorter timeline, please reach out! I always do my best to accommodate last-minute bump updates whenever my calendar allows.
2. When and how will I receive my maternity photos?
You’ll receive a curated sneak-peek gallery of 3-5 images within 48 hours of your session so you can share the exciting news with loved ones! Your complete, high-resolution digital gallery will be delivered in an online portal within 7 - 14 days, fully edited with full print release rights and access to order professional prints, custom wall art, or keepsake albums to celebrate this special milestone.
3. Can my partner and children be included in the session?
Yes, absolutely! Family members are always welcome and encouraged to join. Whether it is quiet, romantic portraits with your partner, sweet candid moments with older siblings, or even including your family pup, we will dedicate plenty of time to capture both solo maternity portraits and warm family interactions.
4. What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of our outdoor shoot?
With over 15 years of experience photographing across San Antonio, Boerne and the Hill Country, I monitor local weather closely leading up to your session date. If heavy rain or extreme temperatures are forecasted, we can easily reschedule your outdoor session to a backup date during your safe pregnancy window, or pivot to an elegant, indoor studio session so you stay completely comfortable.
5. Do you offer travel across San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country, or offer wardrobe guidance?
Yes! I regularly photograph maternity sessions at outdoor field locations, parks, and venues in San Antonio, Boerne, Helotes, New Braunfels, Fredericksburg, and throughout the Texas Hill Country with no hidden travel fees.
